Frequently Asked Questions

1)  How can I place an order and what forms of payment do you accept?

Contact me at 585.381.8192 or to place your order or click the Contact Us button in the green navigation bar on the left or on the bottom of this page and fill in the spaces and submit. Please do not put your credit card information on the Contact Us page or anywhere else on this website.  At present, my website is not set up with a security system, so you will need to call me at 585.381.8192 with charge card information

I take cash, check and credit cards.  You will only be dealing with me and occasionally my husband when you order an item of jewelry, so please feel confident in giving us your credit card information.   Your information is safe with us and will be shared only with the credit card company for purchasing purposes.

2)  Do you offer free shipping?

Sorry, not at this time.

3)  How will my order be shipped?

United States Postal Service, unless you ask for another carrier.

4)  When can I expect my order to be shipped?

If the item of jewelry is already made, one to three days time.  If the item has to be constructed, it could take anywhere from a week or two, depending on whether the components necessary to complete the project are in stock.  I will let you know the shipping status via email.

5)  Do you ship outside of the United States?

Not at this time.

6)  What is your return policy?

Please click on Customer Care in the green navigation bar for information.

7)  Do you do custom orders?

Yes, I have done many custom orders, and I love doing them!  Please get in touch with me regarding same either through email or phone.  We can discuss the particulars.  The phone number to reach me is 585-381-8192 and my email address is  Sorry, there are no returns on custom orders.

8)  Do you do repairs?

Yes, as long as the repair is within my technical skills I will repair your jewelry item regardless of who crafted it.  To discuss your particular repair, please get in touch with me at or 585-381-8192.

9)  Do you offer gift certificates?

Yes, I do - in any amount you wish!  For more information, please call me at 585-381-8192.

10)  Do you have a printed catalog to send me?

No, I do not have a printed catalog.  Please refer to my website for the most complete showing of my jewelry.  Since I do everything by hand (make the jewelry, price it, write down the contents of all pieces on my price tags, photograph the jewelry, place the photos on my website, and update my website every week) it's almost impossible for me to have all my finished jewelry shown on my website.  When you come to one of my shows, you will see everything that is for sale.

11)  Do you have clip-on earrings?

I do have some beautiful sterling silver and vermeil clip-on components and will happily replace pierced earrings with the clip-ons, that is, if it is possible without destroying the earrings or their design.  Please let me know which pair of earrings you wish me to convert to clip-ons and I will tell you if I can and what the price will be.

12)  I lost one of the earrings I purchased from you.  Can I purchase a replacement for the lost earring?

If I have all the appropriate materials, you can.  Call me or email me and tell me which pair it is.  Better yet, if you have a digital camera, take three photos of the earrings, front, side and back, and send that in an email to me at  A picture is worth a thousand words!

13)  Do you have a store?

No, I don't have a store.  I create jewelry from my studio and depend on selling my inventory from my online store, at local art shows, home parties, or personal contacts.

14)  Which local art shows are you in?

For a complete listing, please go to my home page and scroll down to the window that says "Joan's Shows".

15) What are the components you use, and how do I care for the jewelry I receive from you?

I use different metals, semi-precious stones, Swarovski crystals, fresh water pearls, etc., and each of these components needs some sort of care........but they are all not created equal!  Please click on Jewelry Carein the green navigation bar for more information.

16) Do you have a Privacy Policy?

Yes, I do. Your email addresses, phone numbers, home addresses and credit card information will not be given out to or sold to third parties. This is such important information, I will repeat it.  Your email addresses, phone numbers, home addresses and credit card information will not be given out to or sold to third parties.

My husband and I are the only people who have access to your personal information and are the only people who can accept your credit card information. We value your privacy like we do our own.  The only time we will use your credit card information is for a purchase you have made or plan on making with Razzle Dazzle and that information will be shared only with the credit card company we use.  The two uses of your email are 1) to receive an email receipt of an item you have purchased from us using your credit card, and 2) when I send out email blasts showing you, my valued customer, my new pieces of jewelry.

17) Do you have a Disclaimer?

I do. I try to be accurate as to the size of each jewelry item, the quality of the components used, the prices and other discriptive information, however, as hard as I try, I cannot be accurate100% of the time.

When I have the informationabout a particular stone or metal, such as treatments (heat, irradiation, etc.) rendered to the stone, or the type of metal I have used, I will disclose that in my descriptions.  I am not a geologist or a gemologist. I use many different types of stones in my designs and I depend on my eye to pick out quality gemstones as well as the information given me by the sellers of the gemstones. I do not nor would not knowingly misrepresent a product.

My information is accurate to the best of my knowledge and is not intended for anything other than a sharing of knowledge.
